Last nights softball game was very extraordinary but painful. We ended up winning our game, but when I went up to bat against a new pitcher for the last inning, she was pitching very hard. Maybe 40mph. On the 5th pitch she gave me when my count was 2-2, she hit me right smack dab on the inside of my knee, so not in front, behind or on the right side of knee, but on the left side, where the crease is. It is still hurting me today, but I pushed through the pain, made it all the way to home base for a point, and played shortstop while they hit. I am going to rest it today, but then I have practice tonight that I need to make it to.
